Kentucky Bank understands the significant impact that the Coronavirus pandemic is having on many of our consumer, small business, and commercial bank customers. We continue to work with those impacted, providing a variety of solutions that make the most sense for meeting their particular needs.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering two programs to help businesses across our nation. Listed below is a summary of those programs as of April 2, 2020; however, this information is subject to change without notice.

CARES Act

The SBA has put the mechanisms, policies, and procedures in place to implement the CARES legislation. The Paycheck Protection Program, one of the largest sections of the CARES Act, is the most important provision in the new stimulus bill for most small businesses. We are actively working to assist our customers with these programs in order to maximize relief under the Act’s provisions.

Please review the information in the Payroll Protection Program Fact Sheet provided by the SBA. This will help you understand what documentation is required. This documentation is based on current information, but is subject to change as the SBA makes updates. To request an application for the Paycheck Protection Program, please contact us at 800-467-1939 or fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

Disaster Recovery

In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories are eligible to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) advance of up to $10,000.

The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

The loan advance will provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. Funds should be made available within three days of a successful application, and this loan advance will not have to be repaid.
