Triple Crown Savers
When you open your child’s savings account, they will receive a cute plush horse, crayons, and a coloring book! This unique savings account is a great way for your children to learn the importance of saving. Kindergarten through 5th graders can earn up to $9 per report card for good grades. We pay $2 per A and $1 per B*. The account is held in your child’s social security number and earns the same rate as a Kentucky Bank savings account. Open the account with $50 and begin to teach your children the importance of saving.

Withdrawal limitations: Regulation permits no more than six (6) combined withdrawals and/or transfers per month or statement period by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer (e.g., automatic payments to an insurance company), drafts, telephone or online transfers, debit card, or check (for accounts with check privileges). Transfers to other Kentucky Bank accounts are counted as part of the six transaction limitation. Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger, by mail, or at an ATM are unlimited. Excess withdrawals over 4 will be performed at a charge of $10.00 each.
*K-5th graders will earn $2 for every A and $1 for every B they receive (up to $9 per report card.) No minimum balance to obtain the bonus. Report card must be presented to bank within 2 months after receipt, and bonus will be provided at that time. This reward is not given in exchange for opening, maintaining or renewing an account, or increasing an account balance.
Annual Percentage Yield (APY) 0.04%. APY effective as of 11/1/16. Fees could reduce earnings on the account.
