How To enroll Your Kentucky Bank Debit Card Into Your Digital Wallet

Apple Pay

 

 

For first time enrollment into Apple Pay, please make sure that your device, as well as the Apple Wallet app, are up-to-date. The Wallet should be a default application for your device. If it has been uninstalled, you can search for it on The App Store and reinstall it. Once your device and the app are updated, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Wallet (Apple Pay) app.
  2. Select the + in the upper right-hand corner. If you are not signed into iCloud, you will be prompted to sign in at this time.
  3. Select Continue.
  4. The next screen will prompt you to use your phone’s camera to scan the front of your card, pulling in the card number and the expiration date. Or, you can select to add the card information manually.
  5. Enter your name as it is listed on the card and verify that the card number that was pulled in is correct. When this information is verified, please select Next in the upper right-hand corner.
  6. Next, verify that the expiration date is correct and enter your CVV Number. The CVV Number is a three-digit number located next to your signature on the back of your card.
  7. Select Next in the upper right-hand corner.
  8. Once the card is deemed eligible, you will see the Terms & Conditions screen. Once you have read the required information, select Agree at the bottom of screen.

*NOTE:  If you already have your Kentucky Bank debit card connected to your iTunes® account, your card should be successfully activated at this point, and the steps below are not needed.

  1. Next, you will be given two options: Call Bank or Later. The Call Bank option can be accessed by clicking “Next” in the upper right-hand corner. This will connect you with Digital Wallet Customer Support for the bank. You will need to remain on the line to activate the card. You will be asked a series of questions to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent transactions made through the wallet software. The questions you will be asked are as follows:
    1. The full 16-digit card number
    2. Your full name, as it is listed on your Kentucky Bank debit card
    3. Your phone number that is on file at Kentucky Bank
    4. Your full address that is on file at Kentucky Bank
    5. Last four numbers of your account (Checking or Savings)
    6. Last four digits of your SSN
  2. Once you have answered all of these questions correctly, your card will be able to be used in the digital wallet system, and you can begin making purchases. If you have any issues with this number or the questions that are asked, please contact your local branch or our Customer Service Center at 800-467-1939.

 


Google Pay

For the first time enrollment into Google Pay, please make sure that your device, as well as the Google Pay app are up-to-date. If you do not have the Google Pay app installed, you can search for the app on your app store and begin the download process there. Once your device and the app are updated, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Pay app.
  2. Select the Payment tab. This will allow you to view all payment methods that you have set up within Google Pay, but does include your Google Play balance.
  3. To start adding your Kentucky Bank debit card, please select the blue button that says +Payment Method.
  4. Next, select Debit Card.
  5. The next screen will prompt you to use your phone’s camera to scan the front of your card, pulling in the card number and the expiration date. Or, you can select to add the card information manually by selecting the blue Enter Details Manually button. Verify that the information is correct before proceeding.
  6. Enter your CVV Number. The CVV Number is a three-digit number located next to your signature on the back of your card.
  7. Enter your name as it appears on your debit card.
  8. Enter your mailing address and phone number.
  9. Select Save.

*NOTE:  If you have added payment information to any Google service previously, some of this information may already be filled in for you. If so, please verify that this information is still up-to-date.

  1. Once the card is deemed eligible, you will see the Issuer Terms screen. Once you have read the required information, click Accept.
  2. Next, you will be given two options: Call Bank or Later. The Call Bank option will connect you with Digital Wallet Customer Support for the bank. You will need to remain on the line to activate the card. You will be asked a series of questions to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent transactions made through the wallet software. The questions you will be asked are as follows:
    1. The full 16-digit card number
    2. Your full name, as it is listed on your Kentucky Bank debit card
    3. Your phone number that is on file at Kentucky Bank
    4. Your full address that is on file at Kentucky Bank
    5. Last four numbers of your account (Checking or Savings)
    6. Last four digits of your SSN
  3. Once you have answered all of these questions correctly, your card will be able to be used in the digital wallet system, and you can begin making purchases. Samsung Pay
For first time enrollment into Samsung Pay, please make sure that your device, as well as the Samsung Pay app, are up-to-date. If you do not have the Samsung Pay app installed, you can search for the app on your app store and begin the download process there. Once your device and the app are updated, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Samsung Pay app.
  2. Once you’ve opened the app, tap on the + in the upper righthand corner. From this screen, select Add Payment Card.
  3. The next screen will prompt you to use your phone’s camera to scan the front of your card, pulling in the card number and the expiration date. Or, you can select to add the card information manually. If you have previously enrolled in any Samsung product, your name may be pre-filled. Verify that the information is correct before proceeding.
  4. Enter your CVV Number. The CVV Number is a three-digit number located next to your signature on the back of your card.
  5. Enter your zip code. If the zip is already filled, please make sure it is correct.
  6. After all information has been filled out, select Next at the bottom of the screen. This will start the validation of your card for use in the wallet.
  7. Once the card is deemed eligible, you will see the Terms & Conditions screen. Once you have read the required information, select Agree to All at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Next, you will be given two options: Call Bank or Later. The Call Bank option will connect you with Digital Wallet Customer Support for the bank. You will need to remain on the line to activate the card. You will be asked a series of questions to verify your identity to prevent fraudulent transactions made through the wallet software. The questions you will be asked are as follows:

*NOTE:  If you are trying to enroll your Samsung Smartwatch, you will have to complete a separate enrollment from your cellular device, this will require a plug-in to be installed on your device.
